Welcome Message for SY 2010 -2011

June 11, 2010

To the eager pupils, beloved parents and guardians, and our dearest teachers we warmly welcome all of you to SCLC for this school year 2010 – 2011. We are happy to see old faces as well as new ones. Let us all welcome one another.

We will begin this year with a few changes and as you can see we have done some facelift in our buildings and facilities. We hope that these improvements will make your stay at SCLC pleasant and conducive to learning. We did intend to construct a new building but the 2 months school break is not enough time to complete work.

We will also begin this year with bright expectations. Dear pupils and parents you will be our partner in achieving success by doing your responsibilities also because SCLC and your teachers cannot do it alone.

•    We at SCLC will provide the tools and means necessary to provide your basic education as per DepEd requirements. The SCLC Vision and Mission will be our tenets.
•    Pupils we encourage you to study well, practice godly discipline, respect for elders and fellow pupils, take good care of school facilities and keep our campus clean, and most of all love God.
•    Parents we would expect you to guide and motivate your children, participate in the programs that SCLC have planned, and help us financially by paying school fees when it is due.

We have prepared a Pupils Handbook that everybody must have. Please get a copy from the Administration office. We urge you to read and understand it and should you have any questions please let us know personally, or use the Suggestion Box, or send an email to gsc.sclc@yahoo.com. We value your comments and will try our best to address them. Try also to visit our webpage http://sclc.i.ph as we continuously update you with the latest information and technology.

Love your school and represent her in any way you can. You are now part of SCLC family. Many of those who came before you are now successful in life and in their chosen fields. Let them be your inspiration and you make them proud of your achievements as well. Your future is in the making and we will help get you to where you would want to be. According to William Jennings Bryan - “DESTINY is no matter of chance. It is a matter of choice: It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.” Life out there is an open field for everyone. Plan it early and do not squander the precious opportunity that many less fortunate does not have.

Our prayers for everything good this school year goes to everyone!
