 Graduation Day Inspirational Message – 27 March 2010

Graduation ceremonies are always memorable occasions because it is also a day of fulfillment. You have now achieved one important milestone in your education. Today we realize the fruit of your hard work, discipline, and patience; not only you, graduates, but of your parents and also your teachers. Congratulations for a job well done!

Today, I want to tell you that TIME IS ON YOUR SIDE. You are young and that is a big advantage. Grab that chance and as much as possible do not waste your time. To you who will be in High School decide now what you want to be so that when you reach college you are already ahead of the pack.

Parents I urge you – take advantage of your child’s youth so that they can cover a lot of ground. By now you should have already a picture of what your child will be. Inspire and guide them but avoid choosing for them. Remember, as parents time is also on your side. It would be regretful if what you have decided is not what your child wanted.

Carry on the task ahead of you. There are a lot of important things to be done and good things to had – sky is the limit. Dream big! Focus on what you want to be. Success is sweet for those who have the perseverance and courage to move on despite difficulties.

One other thing that I wanted to impart is discipline and good moral values. You have to practice and carry it with you always otherwise success may be in vain.

In behalf of the incorporators, the management and staff of this institution I am happy and pleased that SCLC have been a part of your achievement. I would like to see you all succeed. It is your destiny!
