Dear Parents and Guardians,

Happy Valentines Day to all!

I am sure you are all awaiting the result of the survey we conducted last week. The management would like to thank those who have participated. We only received 20 survey forms out of 90 given out. This was not what we expected but despite the low turnout we understand that you are all concerned of your children’s education. We want to involve you in our decision making and that is why this survey is very important.

We will soon announce what the management have decided.

The following are tabulation of the survey:

 

  1. Would you be willing to have some of the classes held in another temporary location?

YES = 9 ;   NO= 10 ;    Abstention = 1. 

 

  1. Would you be willing that classes are held while construction is ongoing?

YES = 7 ;  NO= 13  ;  Abstention = 0.

 

3.   Would you be willing to pay additional amount to have classrooms Air conditioned?

YES = 8 ;  NO= 11  ;  Abstention = 1.

 

  1. Do you have anything specific that you would like to change or improve in SCLC?

YES= 12 ; NO = 8  ;  Abstention = 0.

Majority would like to improve on facilities ie. Classrooms, Toilet, Garbage Bin, Library, Computer Room, Playground. Some have also recommended to impose Discipline, and Rules and Regulations.

Top 10 Children’s Books for 2009

Hi kids! If you have been thinking of a Christmas present that you want to receive from your parents, godparents, and friends, why not wish for a book or books among other things that you have been wanting to get. 

The following books according to Time Magazine belong to the Top 10 books for Children for the year 2009. Is that not interesting given that they are highly recommended by a respected magazine?

To the parents and guardians, start hunting for these books, wrap them and suprise your little ones with these treasures!
